There’s an intersection between the things I do because I have to and the things I want to do because they’re interesting. Some days the intersecting set is relatively small; yesterday I fiddled with a flowchart for what seemed like hours, trying to get it just so. And today? I’m not sure yet. I’ll probably try to work from home tomorrow, which means getting stuff ready for signatures and other what-not. There is too much as it is, and we hold at San Mateo because it’s just so much to be done, sooner or later.
We’re not quite at the point where we have an overwhelming amount to tackle, but let’s just pretend this never happened, okay? In fact, the things that will be done and the things I need to have done almost never work out to intersect through the rest of the day.
